ANNOUNCING A NEW ENTRY POINT TO THE 1 YEAR NEXT GENERATION INTERNSHIP: January 18, 2010 – January 2011
Because of the overwhelming response with our Next Generation Internship program we have decided to open up a new entry point to the one year internship. In addition to our one year cycle that begins and ends in August, we have added a one year cycle that begins and ends in January, starting January 18th 2010. If you are interested in entering in the internship through the new January cycle please email brett.mehl@harvestokc.com

Youth America is officially raising the age limit. We now welcome junior-high through college-age students to attend Youth America, as well as, any age of leaders, youth pastors and senior pastors.
THIS IS A STEP FORWARD IN ACHIEVING OUR MISSION:
TO REDEFINE THE CHURCH TO THE NEXT GENERATION

Two more guest speakers confirmed for Youth America 2010 A Cause / A Generation / A Revolution

Week 1 July 5-9
Josh Mayo is one of the premiere emerging youth and young adult pastors of this generation. He is currently director of 180 Remix (180remix.com), a youth ministry in Fort Smith, Arkansas, which runs several hundred in attendance each week. Josh expands his impact by speaking at various youth and young adult leadership venues throughout the nation. He is also a promising author. His recent release, Help! I’m Raising My Kids While Doing Ministry, has received very positive reviews. The best decision of his life was marrying his beautiful wife Monica.

Week 3 July 19-23
Carl Lentz is a senior associate pastor at Wave Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. One of his primary roles is leading the young adult and youth movement of Wave Church, which continues to grow and help people encounter Jesus. Carl and Laura have three children, Ava, Charlie and their son Roman.

Week 2 July 12-16
ROBERT MADU is one of the premier voices being raised up to proclaim God’s infallible Word. At a young age, his unique gifting and powerful anointing have catapulted him to the forefront of evangelistic ministry today. Robert travels both nationally and internationally ministering to several Churches, Youth Groups, and Schools through dynamic preaching and drama. His ability to minister to people of all races, cultures, and generations makes him a commanding and captivating communicator. In addition to his traveling ministry he serves as the on-staff evangelist at Trinity Church in Cedar Hill, TX.
Week 2 July 12-16
REV. SPIKE, former Executive Director of Youth America, is a veteran minister and practitioner of leadership. He has invested his life in developing the local church, church leaders & the next generation. Rev. Spike has lived to steward his pastor’s dream, to instigate an Uprising in this generation of young people, to strategize and forecast future ministry and growth, and to challenge and develop leadership excellence. He has focused many years on mentoring and empowering Youth Pastors as well.
