Youth America is officially raising the age limit. We now welcome junior-high through college-age students to attend Youth America, as well as, any age of leaders, youth pastors and senior pastors.

THIS IS A STEP FORWARD IN ACHIEVING OUR MISSION:
TO REDEFINE THE CHURCH TO THE NEXT GENERATION

We believe that God has placed a mandate on Youth America to reach, influence, and deploy the entire next generation to be and to build the church. Expanding the age limit of Youth America takes us a step forward in accomplishing this. The college-age group is a vital and influential age group that we must rally to live for the cause of Christ. It only strengthens the church to have this age group on her side. Over this past summer we had several youth pastors come to us and say, “I wish there was an experience like this for my college-age students, they need this.” We find that true in most churches today. The young-adult age group is simply missing in most churches. But we believe we can rally a core of young adults to turn into passionate Christians, living for the cause, motivating their generation to take its place in the church and show those who are younger and older than they are how powerful of a force they can be for God. At Church of the Harvest, we have seen this come to pass – a church filled with the life of all generations serving and worshiping together. Our desire is to help other churches change the statistics, and reverse the trend that says college-age students are simply too hard to reach. We need their influence and energy to see the church go forward.

Having junior high, high school, and college age students all together can be an incredible dynamic. We believe it will only elevate the experience for each age group. In reaching college-age students at Youth America we can inspire them to lead the kind of lives that junior high and high school students can look up to. Imagine an army of college age students passionate about influencing those younger than them to live for the cause. We’ve all heard it preached, “If someone had taught me all of this when I was your age, I would be so much further along than I am today.” Let’s eliminate that statement in the future by raising up young people who are not only living for God, but who also have a lifestyle of investing and influencing those younger than them to do the same. College age attendees will be housed separately and will have some separate daytime sessions. We believe Youth America 2010, “A CAUSE/ A GENERATION/ A REVOLUTION,” is going to be a monumental experience in what God is doing in the church world today. Join with us, and let’s see all that God has planned come to pass.
